How to Send Samples

Samples called for STAT pickup will be charged an additional $40.00 and will be reported within 2 hours of call to the lab. Endocrinology and send-outs cannot be done as a STAT.

Results will be reported by 10am for Presurgical Profiles. The lab must be called by 8:45am to ensure 10am reporting.

It is the policy of DVM Labs to hold all specimens for 48 hours, in case veterinarian requests additional tests or verification of results.

Fees listed are the same for all hospitals. We feel that is fair and equitable.

We are always available for questions, concerns or suggestions. The lab is able to develop custom profiles, if hospitals request them.

Results will be faxed and/or emailed.

Please label all tubes with pet’s name and last name.

Histopathology and Cytology samples need complete history in order to be processes. Failure to provide information may cause a delay in results.
